Conservancies
Several private landowners within the Naivasha catchment have set aside land as wildlife conservancies and those on the northern edge of the lake are joining with neighbours to try to form a corridor between Naivasha and Nakuru. Oserian Flower Farm have created a corridor between Hell’s Gate National Park and Oloidien Lake in the south west of Naivasha, which is next to a conservancy six times its size where protected species are breeding.
