Ecosystem Services are benefits provided by nature that can be harnessed by human societies, both locally and globally. Goods and services may flow continuously from nature to users provided that the Natural Capital that constitutes their foundation is not eroded or severely damaged. A number of actions can be initiated to strengthen natural assets responsible for key Ecosystem Services. In the Naivasha Basin we found seven such initiatives, at seven different locations.
